Summer camp 2012!

I hope you all have had a nice start of the new year!

I have no competitions until February and I didn't train that much agility during the Christmas. I think I'm motivated to start again this week :o)

The seminar with Olga is so popular that I'm now trying to organize one more day to be able to offer a spot to all people who entered. I'm really happy so many people are interested and I think we all, inclusive Olga, are excited!

This week all classes starts here again and I'm looking forward to teach and meet old and new students. Next Monday I will go to Japan for new seminars and I'm very excited about it!

My online training is working really well and I think it's a good tool for both me and my students. The reasons vary, some people use it between classes and others use it because they live too far.

Now I have updated the course-site with two summer camps! I organize two camps together with Zeljko Gora and it's the third summer we have this camps. It will be one group for handling and one for foundation on each camp.

God Jul & Gott Nytt År! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Nu alla vänner är det dan före dopparedan! Vädret kanske inte precis bidrar med så mycket julstämning men man får ju göra så gott det går med annat runt omkring. Efter massor av mysiga aktiviteter med vänner o grannar inför julhelgen så åker jag o hundarna till Borås o firar med familj, släkt o vänner.

Å så var det ju den traditionsenliga julfilmen från Lotus Education. Det var på vippen att det inte blev någon i år... Men jag o Nettan fick energi efter gårdagens julkonsert med Hanna o Rosa i Göteborg så vi drog till Lotushallen för lite filminspelning vid midnatt :o). Den kanske inte blev lika avancerad som förra året men bättre än inget.

Now all the friends, the day before Christmas! The weather may not help with the Christmas spirit but it's just to try the best you can with other things around. After lots of nice Christmas activities with friends and neighbors, me and the dogs will go to Borås o celebrate with family, relatives and friends.

And then it was the traditional Christmas movie from Lotus Education. We almost dropped it this year. But... I o Nettan got energy after yesterday's Christmas concert with Hanna o Rosa in Gothenburg, so we went to Lotushallen for some recording at midnight. It's not as advanced as last year but better than nothing.




Och för er som missade fjolårets julfilm o vill få lite extra julstämning när regnet smattrar på fönsterrutan, här kommer den igen!

Fred & Kärlek i juletid

Detta inlägg ska inte bli så klyschigt o smörigt som ni kanske tror... Rubriken syftar på bilden nedan ;o)

I helgen har det varit fullt upp med roliga saker! I fredags hade vi vallträning här på dagen och på kvällen var det dags för en av mina favorittraditioner i juletid, beskarunda. Alla grannar här i byn är ju helsköna o stämningen är på topp när vi går mellan gårdarna. I lördags blev det en sväng till Göteborg med årets julkonsert på kvällen. I söndags var det fullt med privatträningar i vallhagen igen för Johan.

Upp till detta har det ju varit spännande som tusan med Musikhjälpen o hundsportens egna insamling! Tänk att vi kom 3a o samlade ihop över 25 000!!! Bara på tre dagar. Tänk hur det ska bli nästa år när vi är beredda från början! Härligt jobbat allihop o speciellt tack till Anna Pettersson som drog igång detta.

Det är lite olika vad vi använder åkern till. Ibland för  att köra dyng-räjs ibland för att ha vallträning... ;o)

Elin o Freja började i 25:an för att sedan flytta upp till stora åkern.

Denna vecka har jag Lilli o hon är en så skön hund! Hon har fått valla två pass . Hon kan nog bli en väldigt fin vallhund. Snabb som en vessla men lugn bakom fåren. Hon är rolig med allt man gör, hon älskar att träna o jag upplever henne som en träningsmässigt mycket smart hund. Jag gillar henne skarpt! Men jag vet inte om Nettans lilla dotter Alice håller med då hon har fått de flesta av sina leksaker lemlestade...

I kväll har jag o hundarna julpysslat lite här hemma.

This year we collect money for girls rights to get education, wherever in the world you live!

Come on, join the last hours of charity, at its best! We have a week before Christmas here in Sweden when our Swedish radio organize a big happening with music and charity in a great mix, I love it! It's a brilliant idea and it feels like all people in Sweden is united and involved in this event, called Musikhjälpen. And even better, three days ago Anna Pettersson started a charity with dog people and it has been a huge success. She wrote me to ask if I wanted to give a private lesson to get people involved and donate money for Musikhjälpen. Of course I wanted! Now several instructors and other people related to dogs have joined and all that give money can be in a big lottery with great prizes. Anna started this "dog-thing" Thursday. Now we have collected almost 20 000 SEK(!) which is more money than we ever could imagine, and this is only from dog people! It's wonderful, it's brilliant, it's warming! Thank you all great people!!!

An advice for the perfect holiday!

Let me share an idea with all my friends abroad: Come to Sweden in July! Start your trip with one week of competitions at http://www.slottshoppet.se/ near Stockholm, continue with a course for Daisy Peel, at Lotus Education after that, go to EO (2hrs from my place), then you are welcome back to me for individual training in agility combined with a nice holiday on the Swedish beautiful west coast! And even better, you can also come for sheep classes! Five birds can be killed with one stone! ;o) (but I like it better in Swedish; "Get five flies in one swat", little bit less brutal...)
